VNB/FSNH: Education Funding Programs






	We offer Education Loans, Educational Funding Certificates of Deposit, and Education guides for parents and students. Education Loans: Home equity loans and unsecured loans are available at competitive interest rates. Parents and grandparents of students can receive up to $200 towards closing costs on home equity financing. Students receiving loans will be eligible for a no-fee VISA® card while they are full-time students, and the first 50 checks for their VNB/FSNH checking account will be free. Because this is not a government-sponsored program: Terms are flexible. There are no burdensome financial aid forms to complete. Checks can be made payable either to the school or to the customer. We are offering a 5-year Educational Funding Certificate of Deposit. Open the account with as little as $50 and add to it as you are able. If you need to meet education expenses earlier than you had thought you might, withdraw money at any time without incurring a penalty. You'll earn a better rate of interest than you would through a savings account. And if interest rates rise, you can raise the rate of your CD -- not once but twice during the five-year period!
