Custody. Our custody customers enjoy the convenience and cost savings of our buying and selling securities for them. Many businesses use our custodial services to invest their cash flow in a broad selection of mutual fund money market funds selected and monitored by our investment managers for their investment objectives and higher yield. Our custody account customers have the added convenience of moving funds to and from their custody account to their Bank checking, savings, or sweep account and with a simple telephone call or e-mail request to set the changes that they want in motion.

Our custody accounts range in size from $50,000 to $130,000,000. Not only are we able to easily purchase the most sophisticated investment products, be we also have a bit of experience as well. For example, we started our active program of furnishing money market funds in 1974 and we added a vast array of no-load stock and bond mutual funds in 1981 well before these types of investments became popular.

Investment Management

Business Liquidity. In addition to the best selection of mutual fund money market funds, we also provide expert management of assets that can be invested for the longer term. Our fixed income managers are skilled in buying the appropriate security at the best yield and in matching maturities with risks.

Trustee of Retirement Plans. Our years of experience in managing stocks and bonds for retirement plans such as Pension, Profit Sharing, and IRA accounts allow us to design the best program for each individual company. Noteworthy, as well, is our management of 401-K plans, which customarily involves a selection of mutual funds. In our selection process we use Morningstar & Steele software as well as software from Ibbotson Associates that allows us to analyze given funds' performance relative to Ibbotson's database of indices.

Value Added in the 401-K Area. We offer several choices in plan design, thereby meeting the needs of companies that currently have or plan on having 401-K plans. We provide good investment choices -- and in a wide enough array for your employees to choose according to their own needs. Typically, we manage three separate accounts for each company, allowing the participants to move between accounts, usually as they approach retirement age and their risk criteria change. We also have a program that allows toll-free phone access for and allows participants to move between funds on a daily basis.

Equally importantly, we help educate your employees so that they are empowered to make their own investment choices. This means that you will not have to assume this responsibility -- and perhaps liability.

Finally, we are local. We are committed to our community, responsive to its needs, and close at hand.
