Here is a list of our services for individuals:
  • Custody Services, freeing you of the detail of handling your assets. Particularly valuable for anyone acting as his or her own trustee.
  • Investment Management, a higher level of service that adds to the Custody Account either the Bank's full management authority or investment advisory responsibilities.
  • Living Trust Services. Our Custody and Investment Management service rolled into a complete package of Trust Services. With a Living Trust you can provide for financial management for yourself and/or your loved ones in case of your incapacity. A Living Trust can also be the instrument by which you pass assets to heirs upon your death. One advantage a Living Trust has when used to pass assets to heirs is that, unlike wills, Living Trusts avoid the expense, delays, and invasion of privacy typical of probate. All this means that a Living Trust is a cost-effective substitute for estate settlement, discretionary distribution, and multi-generational financial management. Additionally, Living Trusts can save substantial estate taxes.
  • Testamentary Trust Services. While it is somewhat similar to a Living Trust, a Testamentary Trust is created under a will. A Testamentary Trust becomes operational only upon the death of the person creating the Trust. The Bank offers a thorough knowledge of probate accounting and court requirements.
  • Estate Services. Our service includes all aspects of estate settlement, including preparation of all tax returns.

We invite you to read a series of articles about estate planning written by Christopher G. Stoneman, an author, lawyer, and educator.
